Guild Emblem options or alternatives
I really like the fact that you can create a guild, have a cape, and put an emblem on the cape. I have to say that to me it seems really innovative seeing I haven't seen that sort of thing in the MMORPG's that I've played.
However I do have a suggestion. I think it would be really kewl if you could place your emblem on you're armor and shield instead of having a cape. I think it would give you more of an options for standing out. Some games make you look the same. GW has dying and mixing of dyes for armor and weapons, etc. I think it would be kewl to have a choice when you make or join a guild to place emblems on your equips. Maybe have a small fee to pay emblem guy to put on your equips. Just thinking it would be kewl, make armors and shields more unique looking, and nice way to show off your guild

World of Warcraft has a bit more of a guild system then Guild Wars at the current time, you can not only design a cape there, but you also can have a rank system and such.

I think the cape concept is just fine.
It's just a bit limiting with only 104 symbols (most of which are quite lame), 32 patterns (some of which are screwed up in the cape makinging interface), 8 cape styles, and thousands of possible color combinations (using the Color Hue slider bar).
As a result, we see the same 5 Guild Emblems used over, and over, and over again.

World of warcraft? rank system?
You can only make a tabard ( goes over your shirt .. like a very long sleeveless thing) with your emblem on it in WoW..
Haven't heard of the ranking system, less you mean honor system , and that isn't all that great.
And on topic, yeah wish it were like this i would love an emblem on my shield.

Shin, your wrong in my opinion. Don't promote someone to a officer if you don't think their responsible, and then you won't have that problem. Also, if everyone in your guild is a member, and you only have a few reliable, dependable officers, then your guild will run just fine.
